The Alumni Affairs Department at Stardom University supports and guides graduates in their professional, academic, and community pursuits. The department prepares lists of students expected to graduate each semester, automatically adds them to the Stardom University alumni platform, and creates and continuously updates the university's alumni database. The department also conducts surveys of alumni and employers, analyzes their feedback, and prepares reports on it. Additionally, the department invites alumni to participate in unit activities, develops special programs for alumni, and issues periodic newsletters. The dedicated efforts of the Alumni Affairs Unit aim to provide support and guidance to graduates. and identify labor market needs, as well as improve alumni engagement with Stardom University. The department focuses on several essential tasks to strengthen the university's and its alumni's relationship and continue to provide support even after their studies have ended.

Objectives of the Alumni Affairs Department:

  • Foster connectivity and collaboration among alumni from all programs according to their specializations.
  • Provide career and job guidance services to current students and alumni.
  • Seek partnerships with professional institutions that facilitate employment opportunities for alumni.
  • Leverage alumni capabilities by involving them in various initiatives and programs.

Tasks of the Alumni Affairs Department:

  • Create and regularly update a database of university alumni and employers.
  • Organize seminars, open days, activities, events, workshops, and webinars for alumni.
  • Follow up with alumni to measure employment rates and assess university outcomes.
  • Invite and engage alumni in various events, activities, committees, and other engagements.

Plan of the Alumni Affairs Department:

The Alumni Affairs Department has developed a plan to prepare StarDom graduates, which is implemented in two phases:

Post-Graduation Phase:

1. The Alumni Affairs Department prepares graduates and equips them with skills beneficial after graduation through:

  • Organizing personal skills training sessions for job applications, such as:
  • How to write a resume.
  • How to pass job interviews.
  • How to write medical reports.
  • How to choose the right job.
  • How to choose the right job.
  • Introduction to work systems in the public and private sectors.

2. Holding informational workshops for graduates and those expected to graduate in collaboration with international and regional organizations concerned with employment.

3. The university organizes Entrepreneurship courses for those interested in starting their own business and specializing in this field.

Post-Graduation Phase:

  • Keep a copy of the document, academic record, resume, and courses in the alumni department for presentation to international sectors in the employment of Stardom University graduates.
  • The Alumni Department interviews graduates to gather their feedback on the program, identify its strengths and weaknesses, and enhance Stardom University's academic outcomes.
  • The department surveys graduates after employment to assess the alignment between university outputs and the work environment and to strengthen the relationship between the graduate, the college, and the employer.
  • The department conducts electronic surveys with targeted employment agencies and engages faculty members in various global sectors to understand actual work conditions in the labor market, aiming to align the program with industry needs.
  • The department tracks suitable job openings in the labor market for graduates and communicates these through modern channels and the department’s bulletin board.
