Convening the First Session of the Sanad Council at Stardom University
The first session of the Sanad Council was held on Monday at 1 PM Istanbul time, following the official decision to establish it as an accredited academic advisory body. The council is responsible for reviewing graduation results and awarding academic degrees, ensuring that students meet all graduation requirements in accordance with international accreditation standards (EOEA).
Council Formation Approval
The formation of the council was approved by the University’s Board of Trustees, chaired by Professor Al-Shanti. Its membership includes college deans, leaders from the Admissions and Registration Department, and the Quality Assurance Division.
Responsibilities of the Sanad Council Include
Issuing final academic approval for graduates (Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD).
Verifying the fulfillment of all academic requirements. Reviewing recommendations from colleges and academic boards.
Approving graduate lists and granting official certificates.
Awarding honorary degrees to distinguished individuals.
Ensuring graduation procedures comply with international academic standards.
Meeting Schedule
The council holds regular meetings three times a year (June, September, January).
Emergency meetings are convened when necessary to address urgent matters.
